Dramatically Lower Pricing



All Enterprise Edition Mentor products reduced as much as 50%



Norwalk, Connecticut, USA, January 30, 2004 - Norwalk, Connecticut, USA, January 30, 2004 - Mentor, the world's best multimedia, just-in-time content from Mentor Media Group, Inc. adds "most affordable solution" to its list of attributes. "When we look at the market," says Dan Gallo, president and CEO of Mentor, "all we see is change... from achieving full customer acceptance of our 'just-in-time' solution" to large companies with diminished IT budgets (but large objectives)... to small and mid-size businesses deploying advanced technology but without the budget or capacity to invest in time-consuming training courses. This dramatic, across-the-board price reduction on all our Enterprise Edition Mentor products will allow us to gain important market share while we serve the growing need. Mentor has been building applications based on its Communication, Learning, and Support concept since 1994. First, they applied the innovative solution to Knowledge Management applications, custom built by clients—Ernst & Young, KPMG Pete Marwick, IBM, and others—with very interesting results: Help Desk calls cut 35% to 45% while application usage skyrocketed. KPMG reported a 67% increase in usage after Mentor was deployed.

By 1997 they'd gained experience and knowledge enough to build their first generic product: Mentor® for Lotus Notes. Since then they've added many new products, including Mentors for Lotus Sametime, Lotus iNotes Web Access, Lotus QuickPlace, as well as Mentors for several Microsoft Windows O/S's, Microsoft Office and the Internet. And they're about to reach another major milestone: 8 million seat licenses sold.
